Q?

What does your church offer for families with children?

A.

Our church family loves children! Your young ones are welcome to participate in age-appropriate activities prior to our worship service and junior church during service for a special worship-themed children's message. If you child is more comfortable staying in the service with you, we offer "busy bags" with quiet activities to hold their attention. We also welcome older children to participate in our worship as greeters, acolytes, communion servers and scripture readers. Ambitious young Christians are welcome to speak with Pastor Lee about offering the message during service or their musical talents!

Q?

What type of service does First United Methodist Church of New Lothrop have?

A.

Our service tends to be traditional with mixed types of music and a little something unexpected most weeks. It is centered around the expectation of the Holy Spirit of God showing up and joining in the joy. It is casual in its atmosphere and it is not entertainment by the Pastor. The whole congregation is involved giving unconditional love to God. We work as one body to remember it is not about us. We are constantly growing and becoming.
